About me

Surrey based crafter, Olivia worlock-bartlett, has been honing their craft skills in multiple art forms like textiles, jewellery design, model making, fashion design and more for the past several years.  After graduating from Godalming college they attended the university of creative arts, taking jewellery and silversmithing, and beginning their business journey in 2022.

Olivia was born and raised in surrey, without the opportunity to travel, so they used the conceptions of fantasy as a means of exploration into the world, starting off with the bases of fantasy races such as elves and fairies then diving deeper into the different cultures within, for example Japanese fantasy with Kappas and kitsune.

Artist Statement

"I would call myself a crafter which means I’ve worked with a range of materials and techniques that I’ve honed over years, instead of planning with a precise course of action I’d rather make first, assess later which means the majority of what I make is a result of extensive experimentation, some examples of the medias I work with include sculpture, traditional art, digital art, print making, ceramics, glass and textiles.  As for materials I’ve worked with these include softer materials like foam, clay and fabrics to harder materials like resin, wood and pvc. My end goal is intended to portray a subtle fantasy aesthetic within what I make. This  could include cosplay/costume accessories or a casual piece (for example a cuff, necklace or ring etc) that has a relation to fantasy, an example of these would be a jack frost staff from rise of the guardians or the silver kitsune pendant in my shop."
